<description>The second day of reading this religious debate has rolled around and I find myself less and less inclined to read it. Not because there isn&#039;t a good bit of debating going on in the post itself, simply because I cannot stand the few people in between that make statements about an entire religion or society as if they are the ordained spokesperson.
To explain myself, by spokesperson, I mean that they seem to think that they are allowed to speak against an entire religion as if they alone were granted the knowledge that will be the downfall of a group of peoples beliefs. One person in this debate claimed that all religions were just brain washed sheep. As a matter of fact, a few people have used the term brain washing in correlation to Christianity and religions in general during the course of this debate. I find this rather offensive, not because I may or may not be a Christian, but because it is the same type of religious bigotry they rant about in their posts.
The broad statements, made by a few, have spoiled it for me. It was a fun debate and I wish you all well (if any who injected their opinions read this).
